Litigation is always stressful for clients, regardless of whether they are the person suing or being sued. I strive to achieve the best results for my client with the least amount of stress and worry possible.

My Background

Concentrates practice in the areas of litigation and creditor’s rights & bankruptcy. Ms. Psarras is an experienced trial and appellate attorney handling routine to complex commercial matters involving breach of fiduciary duty claims, estate and trust litigation, shareholder and member buy-outs, commercial contracts, restrictive covenants, commodities transactions, commercial disputes, mortgage and mechanic’s lien foreclosure, and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. She represents a myriad of clients from a wide range of business types in state court, federal court, in mediation and arbitration, and before administrative agencies. Since 2014, Ms. Psarras has had the privilege of serving as the first female member of the firm’s management committee. She also has been recognized as a 2016, 2017, and 2018 Illinois Emerging Lawyer in the area of commercial litigation.

Key Client Matters

Tried numerous cases successfully to verdict including defending a family run business and company from claims of shareholder oppressions and breaches of fiduciary duty, defending a trustee from claims of mismanagement and of trust assets, defending brokerage firms in their handling of discretionary trading accounts, and prosecuting and protecting the rights of beneficiaries to receive accountings of trusts and ensuring the loyalty of the trustees.
