William A. Castle Jr.

Shareholder

I strive to be a lawyer my clients can depend upon, which means being available and responsive while understanding how my strengths and skills help them achieve their business goals.

My Background

I’m an experienced commercial litigator who represents individuals, closely held companies and financial institutions in a variety of business disputes before both state and federal courts.

Over the course of my career, I’ve focused my practice on:

  • employment-related claims, including: restrictive covenants, overtime and minimum wage law, trade secret disputes and employment discrimination;
  • shareholder disputes
  • general commercial contractual disputes and business torts
  • creditors’ and debtors’ rights
  • mortgage foreclosures
  • real estate title disputes
  • commercial and residential landlord-tenant actions
  • the defense of class action claims arising under the Junk Fax Protection Act of 2005

Communication is a critical component of my client relationships. My goal is to serve my clients’ best interests, which requires that I first listen to and understand their priorities. Armed with that information and my understanding of their industry or profession, I work to assess the risks and benefits involved with litigation to help them achieve their distinct business goals.

I have successfully represented clients in all stages litigation and arbitration, including state-mandated and private arbitrations, administrative hearings, bench and jury trials and post-judgment enforcement.

I also appear in court as a prosecutor for certain villages within Cook County, working in partnership with local law enforcement officers to serve the people of those municipalities.
