Vincent T. Borst was born in Memphis,
Tennessee, and currently resides in Chicago. He received his Bachelor of
Science degree in 1981 in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1982 from
the Keller Graduate School of Management. He received his Juris Doctor
degree from the John Marshall Law School in 1986, where he served as an
Associate Editor for the John Marshall Law Review.
Mr. Borst's practice is
devoted to representing equipment lessors, banks and corporations in
commercial litigation and transactional matters. He began practicing law
with one of Chicago's largest law firms, where his practice focused on
litigating complex, multi-million dollar cases for a wide variety of
corporations.
He has litigated cases throughout the United States, at the trial and
appellate levels. He represents a wide variety of corporations in
commercial matters involving equipment leasing, secured lending and
aviation related issues, among others. Mr. Borst is currently admitted
to practice before the Illinois State Bar, the bars for the United
States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois (Trial and
General Bars), the Central District of Illinois, the Southern District
of Illinois, the Northern District of Indiana, the Southern District of
Indiana, the District of Colorado, the Eastern District of Wisconsin,
the Western District of Wisconsin and before the United States Courts of
Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits.
