The attorneys and staff of Robbins, Salomon & Patt, Ltd. mourn the death of Manuel J. Robbins, friend, mentor and founder of the law firm. For well over 50 years as a lawyer, Manny was a zealous advocate for his clients. Many of the client relationships that Manny forged over the years remain the bedrock of the law firm’s business.

He was a friend and mentor to many of the Robbins, Salomon & Patt lawyers and took a special pride in their successes and achievements. Manny was the lawyer to whom other lawyers in the law firm turned to for advice and counsel. He was an uncommonly loyal man and devoted to his family, friends and the law firm. Manny will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Manuel J. Robbins was born in Chicago, Illinois, November 27, 1917. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1941, and was also a member of the bar of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
