Items of Note: Crystal has been a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Societies since 1996. Crystal has been a speaker at National Business Institute seminars concerning the Drafting and Negotiation of Commercial Leases, and has authored a chapter for the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Chicago Bar Association in “A Young Lawyer’s Guide to Real Estate Practice,” concerning the negotiation of commercial real estate transactions.  Crystal frequently volunteers for the Holy Name Cathedral Shelter and Habitat for Humanity.

Crystal represents purchasers, sellers, developers, condominium associations, investors, landlords, tenants and lending institutions in a wide variety of real estate transactions, focusing primarily on commercial real estate and secured lending law.  Crystal has experience in all areas of real estate, including traditional sales and purchases, short sale transactions, §1031 Exchanges, three dimensional conveyances and vertical separations, air rights development, commercial and residential redevelopment, private placement memoranda, the sale of interests in real estate entities, condominium development (including Property Reports and compliance with State regulations and municipal code) and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
