I’ve grown up in this firm. Thirty-something years ago, you could find me in our law library, researching and writing as a law clerk. Now, as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, I understand acutely the business of running a business. When it comes to fiscal and strategic planning, and operations, I speak the same language as my clients and that shapes the work I do on their behalf every day.
I’ve spent my career partnering with banks, financial institutions, real estate developers, and entrepreneurs on a broad range of transactions throughout the country. I represent national lenders in real estate and asset based loans as well as loan workouts and I’ve served as the lead lender’s counsel on several large syndicated loan deals. I also represent real estate developers and corporate clients in a wide variety of acquisitions, dispositions, leases and other business transactions.
I learned a long time ago from people older than myself that being responsive and staying a step ahead is just baseline client service. That has become my way. To go beyond, I depend on my ability to adapt to changing circumstances, breakdown complicated issues simply, and my relentless drive to deliver.
There is no replacement for business sense and industry knowledge, especially when a client’s success is at stake. Armed with those, we can make informed decisions about how to answer the question: “how do I make this work?” I know that being at the other end of the phone when clients ask that question is a privilege and I’m ready to put my experience and insight to work on their behalf.
